Licences to on-course racecourse betting and sweepstakes will be regulated by LGA under article 43 of the Lotteries and Other Games Act, 2001, when regulations are published
On-line racecourse betting and sweepstakes are licensed under Class II of the Remote Gaming Regulations.
At present on-track bookmakers are licensed by the Malta Racing Club. The tote falls under the responsibility of the executive police. At present no operator avails himself from a greyhound racing licence.
