The LGA still has to publish regulations that make provision for Aumusement Machines. Until such time, amusement machines continue to be licensed and regulated by the executive police, in terms of Legal Notice 43 of 1998.
An amusement machine is defined as any type of machine, whether operated electrically, electronically, mechanically, manually or otherwise, used for the purpose of playing games exclusively for amusement purposes and not for gambling purposes.
