Malta iGaming Seminar 2009

Over the last few years the Maltese Islands have become more and more attractive for the online gaming industry and we have seen a boom in companies relocating to Malta to benefit from the incentives that have been introduced by the Maltese government over the last few years.

Being a dynamic industry whose requirements change often, a seminar was hosted on the 8th October at Le Meridien, St. Julians, Malta for startup or relocating gaming  companies seeking excellent jurisdictions, with the scope of inviting them to Malta for the first ever Malta iGaming Seminar (MiGS09).

At MiGS, delegates who are interested in setting up or relocating to Malta had the chance to meet with some of the key local suppliers to the industry, enabling them to gauge the quality of services and products available to them in Malta.

The LGA's Chairman, Mr Nick Xuereb gave an opening speech, whilst the Authority's CEO, Mr Reuben Portanier was a member of the panel.
